As the Food is Medicine balls have been such a hit, I have been experimenting with some superfood smoothies. This one is divine! It has all the same ingredients as the balls with the addition of blueberries, coconut cream and banana. Blueberries are great for memory, blood sugar and eye health. The coconut cream makes the smoothie creamy and provides a good source of fat. It also protects your immunity and boost your digestive health. The banana gives it an extra creamy boost of sweetness, and provides a good source of vitamins and minerals. What you need.

  • 1 cup of coconut water
  • Half a banana
  • Half a cup of frozen blueberries
  • Tablespoon nut butter
  • Tablespoon coconut cream
  • Tablespoon of rolled oats
  • Teaspoon chia seeds
  • Teaspoon of cacao powder
  • Teaspoon maca powder
  • Sprinkle of cinnamon
  • Pinch of organic stevia/ brown rice syrup (optional)

How to make.

  • Put all ingredients into a blender and blitz! Add ice if using fresh blueberries.
