Morning Green Juice

This green juice is perfect for those days when you just don’t feel like eating a ton of veggies. It is also my secret hangover cure! I always have one of these after a night out drinking. My favourite combination is kale, spinach, cucumber, celery, mint, ginger, lemon and coconut water. The greens will top up all your vitamins and minerals, help with your digestion and will also cleanse your liver. The coconut water is great for hydration, potassium and electrolytes. It also gives it a nice sweet kick too.  Adding fresh lemon to greens also enhances your iron absorption, so I always add a squeeze to any greens that I am having.

What you need.

  • 200ml coconut water

  • 1 handful of spinach

  • 1 handful of kale (chopped)

  • Small- medium cucumber

  • Small- medium celery

  • Fresh lemon (to squeeze)

  • 4 mint leaves

  • 1 tsp fresh ginger (grated)

  • A little ice (optional)

How to make.

  • Chuck everything into a blender and blend away until smooth.

  • Pour into a glass and enjoy!
