Hi, I’m Shreen and welcome to Be You Be Free Personal Training in Coogee.

I’m not your typical Personal Trainer, I’m a Health at Every Size and Body Positive personal trainer who helps women build confidence and respect in themselves and create a fun, practical and balanced approach to their health and well-being in a supportive, non-judgmental and comfortable environment.

Health at Every Size

Health at Every Size (HAES) is a movement created by Linda Bacon PHD who is a scientist, researcher, author and educator who undertook years of research and studies into weight and dieting. Through her years of research, Linda discovered that weight does not indicate a person’s health, and that you can pursue health at any size.

HAES is as follows:

  • Accepts and respects that we are all diverse shapes and sizes.

  •  Recognises that health is more than weight, and that it encompasses our physical, emotional, spiritual, occupational, emotional and intellectual beings

  • Promotes all aspects of health and well being for people of all sizes

  • Promotes balanced and individualised eating for health, pleasure, hunger and fullness

  •  Promotes enjoyable exercise for health, rather than for weight loss

At Be You Be Free we follow the HAES principles, and we exercise for how it makes us feel, and for its health and well-being benefits. We do not focus on weight loss, transformations, or diets. We focus on pursuing sustainable health and well-being behaviors such as;

  • Self-care

  • Fun and enjoyable exercise

  • Body respect

  • Work-life balance.

  • Connecting with nature.

  • Mindfulness

  • Eating foods for health, pleasure, hunger and fullness

  • Engaging in positive actives and behaviours

  • Improving emotional well-being

  • Pursuing creativity and passions

Body positive

Be You Be Free is a body positive space. We are a supportive and non-judgmental community for all women of all shapes and sizes.

HOW THE seSSIONS WORK

  • Individualised sessions for you and your well-being goals

  • Diet free, body positive space for all women of all shapes and sizes

  • Fun and varied workouts including strength, circuits, high intensity and boxing

  • Health and well-being info and activities each week

  • A supportive, comfortable and non-judgmental environment

  • Ongoing email and phone support

  • Access to the private members page and the Be You Be Free community and social eventsTImES

All one-on-one sessions will be arranged over the phone, or via email, at a time that suits you

COST

  • 30 minutes- $50

  • 45 minutes - $65

  • 60 minutes - $75
